The Chargé d’affaires meets the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives

met with the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, H.E. Mr. Abbas Tajudeen, who expressed his happiness of holding the meeting, and both discussed important issues concerning the cooperation and the bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly the Parliamentary Friendship Committee and the re-opening of the Nigerian Embassy in Baghdad.
During the meeting H.E. Mr. Tajudeen stressed the importance of Iraq in the world and the need for Nigeria’s representation in Baghdad, he also emphasized on the historical relations between Iraq and Nigeria over the decades and the various areas of cooperation between the two countries, moreover, both countries are members of OPEC and OIC.
