The Chargé d’affaires of Embassy of Republic of Iraq to Tbilisi Meets with Representatives of Georgian Foreign Ministry

The Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Tbilisi Mr. Omar Sami met with the Deputy Minister of the Georgian Foreign Ministry Mr. Alexander Khvtisiashvili, the head of the consular department Mr. Georgi Tabatadze, the head of the Middle East and North Africa Department Mr. Carlo Sekharoldze, and the head of the International Law Department, Ketivan Sarajishvili, upon the request of the embassy.

The meeting discussed the problem of granting and renewing the residence permits of students and the Iraqi community entering Georgia.

The Chargé d’affaires called on the Georgian side to provide practical solutions to these problems in the context of enhancing cooperation and openness between the two countries.
