The Chargé d’affairs of Embassy of Republic of Iraq in Sofia Meets with Bulgarian Minister of Interior

The Chargé d’affairs of Republic of Iraq in Sofia, Mr.  Mohamed Ibrahim Wahid met with the Bulgarian Minister of the Interior, Mr. Mladen Marinov at the latter’s request.

During the meeting they discussed the bilateral issues between the two countries, and their development to serve the interests of both countries, and the two sides discussed the depth of the Iraqi-Bulgarian relations. The Acting Chargé d’affaires praised the efforts of the Bulgarian government to support Iraq in its war against terrorism, which was reflected in the progress and development of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

On his part, the Bulgarian Minister of the Interior indicated that his country continues to support Iraq in all fields, including: Reconstruction efforts, stressing cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
