The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Prague Mrs. Sundus Omar Ali, met with Deputy Speaker of Czech Senate Mr. Petr Fiala. During the meeting a number of issues of common concern were discussed, including the current situation in Iraq and the Middle East, and the Ambassador stressed the importance of respecting the full national sovereignty of Iraq, stressing that the international community should work to calm conditions, reduce tension and avoid conflicts in the region.
