Foreign Minister Meets Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Ahmad Al Sabah

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Ahmad Alsabah on the sidelines of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti joint committee meetings held in Kuwait.

During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for developing the relations between the two countries to meet the aspirations of the two peoples. Minister Alhakim valued Kuwait’s support for Iraq, calling for the importance of coordinating on political consultations between the two countries.

Minister Alhakim stressed that the convening of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti joint committee was an essential basis for improving the level of coordination in many areas, and contributes to the transition to broader prospects in the areas of bilateral cooperation.
