The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Amman Discusses Cooperation and Coordination of Consular Affairs with Jordanian Foreign Ministry

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Amman, Mr. Haider Al-Athari met the Director of the Consular Affairs Department at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Mr. Maan Masadeh, to discuss cooperation and coordination between the two sides in the presence of the Iraqi Consul, Mr. Khaled Al-Khezaran.

Mr. Al-Athari stressed during the meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters that the Embassy is closely following the affairs of the Iraqi community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and is looking for more support to solve their problems and providing possible facilities for them, noting the importance of facilitating procedures for granting entry visas to citizens of both countries.

On his part, Ambassador Masadeh expressed full readiness to cooperate in removing any obstacles facing Iraqis residing in the Kingdom, praising the recent facilities provided by the Iraqi embassy in granting entry permits for Jordanian truck drivers to Iraqi territory.
