Iraq’s Ambassador to Amman Meets Jordanian Minister of Culture

Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan  Mr.  Haider Al-Athari met with the Jordanian Minister of Culture Dr. Basim Al-Tuwaisi to discuss bilateral relations.

The Ambassador stressed that the coming stage will witness more support for cultural activities and events in partnership and coordination with the Iraqi and Jordanian ministries of culture, pointing out that the presence of an elite of Iraqi intellectuals and artists and the largest Iraqi student community in the Kingdom gives cultural and social momentum to the relations between the two brotherly countries.

On his part Mr. Al-Tuwaisi expressed the importance of adopting a joint program with the Iraqi embassy to organize mutual cultural events, based on the cultural protocol recently signed by the Jordanian and Iraqi ministries of culture.
