Head of Department of International Organizations and Conferences Meets with Chargé D’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Baghdad

The head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences Mr. Rahman Al Ameri met with the Chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Korea to Baghdad Mr. Jo Tae Ho.

Mr. Al-Ameri pointed out that one of the most prominent aspects of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries is the exchange of support for the candidates of both countries in international positions; thus achieving their active presence in the international community.

On his part, the Korean Chargé d’affaires presented a proposal for mutual support in the election of UNESCO Committees scheduled for the twenty-second session of the General Assembly of the Organization held in Paris in November 2019, Mr. Al-Amiri promised to study the proposal and inform them of the Ministry’s position in this regard.
