Foreign Minister Attends Signing of Framework Agreement for Diplomatic Cooperation between Iraqi Foreign Service Institute and Clingendaael Institute
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi, signed a framework agreement for diplomatic cooperation between the Iraqi Foreign Service Institute and the Dutch Clingendael Institute.
The agreement included strengthening cooperation between the two sides in the fields of training, development of diplomatic skills, capacity building, exchange of information and experience on diplomatic education and training programs, seminars and other academic training activities.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Foreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim and the signing of this agreement was the end of his visit to the Netherlands, which comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Clingendael Institute is one of the world’s most prestigious international institutes, funded by the Dutch Foreign Ministry, and has organized many training courses for the Iraqi Foreign Ministry since 2005, with 122 participants of the Ministry employees, the last of which was 15 Diplomats from the Ministry senior staff last year
