The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq meets the Dean of the Arab and Foreign Diplomatic Corps in Minsk

Ambassador of Iraq Mr. Haider Al-Athari met with the Dean of the Arab and Foreign Diplomatic Corps in Minsk, Ambassador of the State of Palestine Mr. Khaled Erekat.

During the meeting, they exchanged dialogue on the latest developments in the Iraqi arena and the measures taken by the government and parliament to meet the demands of the demonstrators.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Athari discussed the latest developments in the region, stressing that Iraq is seeking to take steps that support calmness in the region and expressed Iraq’s keenness give importance to the Palestinian issue and the rejection of the Israeli settlement steps.

On his part, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Mr. Erekat, praised the historical relations between Iraq and Palestine, and the position of the Iraqi people opposing and rejecting the policies of normalization with the Israeli entity.
