Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Receives Kuwait’s Ambassador to Iraq

Ambassador Shorsh Khaled Saeed, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Multilateral and Legal Affairs, received on Monday, January 13, 2025, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Mr. Hassan Mohammed Al-Zaman.

The Undersecretary congratulated the Kuwaiti Ambassador on assuming his duties in Baghdad, and wished him success in his new mission, stressing Iraq’s keenness to provide the necessary support to facilitate his tasks and enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

Additionally the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries across various areas, in line with the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. As well they touched on regional issues of common concern, while welcoming continuing holding meetings of the technical and tripartite committee between the two sides.

On his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador extended his thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with Iraq and expand the horizons of cooperation to achieve common interests
