Head of Asia and Australia Department Meets Australian Ambassador to Iraq

The Head of Asia and Australia Department at the Foreign Ministry Dr. Hamid Al-Jubouri met with the Australian Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Mr. Glenn Miles, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various areas, in a way that contributes to achieving common interests. As well thy discussed the prospects for joint cooperation with Australian companies in construction and reconstruction projects inside Iraq.

The meeting also reviewed regional and international developments, with attaching special importance on events related to developments in Syria and the region.
