Iraqi-Kuwaiti Technical and Legal Committee Holds its Seventh Meeting

The seventh meeting of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Technical and Legal Committee was held in Baghdad on Monday, December 16, 2024. The Iraqi side was headed by Ambassador Abdul Karim Hashem Chairman of the Higher Committee, and Dr. Issam Al Saadi Deputy National Security Advisor, while the delegation of the State of Kuwait was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the latest developments related to the work of the committee, with an emphasis on advancing bilateral relations and joint cooperation to make a significant progress on this file.

As well the two parties exchanged views to build a common technical vision between the two of them, which would lead to understandings that serve the interests of the two countries.

Additionally they emphasized the strength of the fraternal relations between Iraq and Kuwait and their keenness to strengthen the ties of cooperation in a way that serves common interests and enhances stability in the region.
