Deputy Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences Meets Deputy Head of EU Delegation in Baghdad

Deputy Head of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences  Mr.  Ali Hilal met with the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in Baghdad, Mr.  Jean-Bernard Bolvan, and Political Adviser to the Mission, Mr.  Bob Mar Lefeld  at the Foreign Ministry.

The two sides discussed ways of joint coordination between Iraq and the European Union within the framework of international work and coordination and  the common understanding between Iraq and the European Union on issues presented in international organizations and mechanisms to strengthen the relationship with the EU mission in Baghdad and overcome all obstacles.

The Deputy Chief of the Department briefed on the distinguished relationship between Iraq and international organizations and the importance of organizations and specialized agencies, especially those working in Iraq in the process of reconstruction and the fight against terrorism and supporting the Government of Iraq in the implementation of its national programs and achievement of sustainable development goals.
