Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Visits Iraqi Embassy in Prague and Holds a Meeting with the Staff
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Prague, and met with the Embassy staff. The Minister touched on bilateral relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic, affirming the importance of strengthening these relations across various fields. Minister Hussein commended the stances of the Czech government in support of Iraq, and highlighted the most prominent areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister was briefed on the work of the Mission and the consulate section, and he praised the efforts exerted by the Embassy staff. The members of the Mission also discussed some of the challenges facing the workflow and ways to address them.
His Excellency referred to a number of prominent Iraqi figures who lived in the Czech Republic and contributed to strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
Additionally, the meeting dealt with the developments in the regional conditions, reconfirming the need for a ceasefire in both Gaza and Lebanon, to avoid further escalation and maintain stability in the region.
