Head of Legal Department Leads Iraq’s Delegation to United Nations Conference Against Organized Crime in Vienna

The Acting Head of the Legal Department Minister Plenipotentiary Hussein Mansour Al Safi, headed the delegation of the Republic of Iraq participating in the twelfth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, held in Vienna during the period from 14 to 18 October 2024.

Mr. Al Safi, delivered Iraq’s speech at the conference in which he affirmed the Republic of Iraq’s support for the efforts of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and stressed the importance of strengthening international cooperation based on the principles of shared responsibility to confront all illegal activities across national borders
