The Ambassador of Republic of Iraq in Cairo Visits Al-Azhar Sheikh

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi visited Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb Sheikh Azhar Al-Sharif, to check on his health, after a medical trip, congratulating him on his return and conveyed the greetings of the Iraqi Prime Minister Mr. Adel Abdul Mahdi and wishes for good health.

during the meeting Sheikh of Azhar praised that Iraq was able to defeat terrorism and overcome many of the challenges and steps taken by Iraq to occupy its leading position in the Arab world as one of the most important pillars of Arab security.On his part, Ambassaodr Al-Dulaimi stressed that Iraq needs the efforts of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in the fight against terrorism adding that Al-Azhar’s voice reaches the hearts of Iraqis and all Muslims in the world because it is the voice of wisdom, reason and balance, and represents the essence of true Islam, praising the spirit of Islam, pointing out that the Iraqi government is working to strengthen unity among the Iraqi people and establish relations with all Arab and neighboring countries and fight poverty, ignorance and underdevelopment and achieve the economic recovery and reconstruction and that Iraq is on the right track despite all the difficulties facing it, and was able to unite its people to defeat Da’esh terrorist group.
