Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Meets his Lithuanian Counterpart on the Sidelines of UN General Assembly 

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Foreign Minister of Lithuania Mr. Gabrielius Landsbergis, on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

During the meeting the two Ministers reviewed bilateral relations between both countries, and ways to enhance them across various fields, as well they discussed the current situation in the Middle East, while stressing the need for stepping up international efforts to stop the escalation, and the application of the principles of international law. 

At the end of the meeting they signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the two countries, as well as coordination of joint work.
