Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education of Singapore

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Education Mr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, on September 22, 2024.

The meeting touched on several issues, including bilateral relations, the commonalities between both countries, and addressing the convergence of views on the most prominent international issues. Both sides agreed on developing bilateral relations with a focus on the process to achieve this, exchange high level visits early next year, and taking steps towards a resident diplomatic representation between the two countries, as well they highlighted the available opportunities for economic cooperation and enhancing them through the exchange of visits by businessmen.

As well they affirmed the need to coordinate stances and mutual support in international forums.
