Iraq’s Ambassador in Riyadh Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with President of Saudi Human Rights Commission

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ms. Safia Talib Al Souhail paid an official visit to Saudi Human Rights Commission (HRC) and met with the President of the commission Dr. Hala bint Mazyed Al Tuwaijri on September 17. During the meeting the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of human rights, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concern, Ambassador Al Souhail stressed the importance of strengthening mutual work and exchanging expertise between the two countries in this vital area.

On her part, Dr. Al Tuwaijri looked forward to advancing the productive cooperation between the two sides, noting that this meeting represents an important step towards promoting bilateral ties in the field of human rights.

The two sides agreed to continue dialogue and intensify joint efforts, to achieve further progress in this field.
