Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Oman’s Royal Office Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with Oman’s Royal Office Minister Mr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Numani in Muscat, on September 16. 

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing joint cooperation to minimize the negative security impacts of the worsening security situation in the region as a result of the repercussions of the aggression on the Gaza Strip. The Minister affirmed that the settlement of regional conflicts would enhance prospects for peace and stability in the region.

As well they discussed ways to develop trade and economic exchange and enhance investment opportunities between the two countries.

On his part Minister Numani expressed his gratitude for this visit at this important time, stressing the quest to promote joint cooperation with the Republic of Iraq.
