Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Meets Indian Ambassador to Iraq to Mark End of his Tenure

On September 8, 2024, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations Ambassador Mohammed Hussain Bahr Aloolum, received Ambassador of the Republic of India to Iraq Mr. Prashant Bisai, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad to mark the end of his tenure.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between both countries, and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation across all fields. Undersecretary Bahr Aloolum expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts made by the Ambassador during his tenure in Iraq, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

On his part, the Indian Ambassador extended his thanks for the Foreign Ministry for the support and assistance that contributed to facilitate work and success of the Embassy in Baghdad. He also expressed his happiness with the hospitality and welcome he received during his tenure in Iraq, stressing the need to continue cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests.
