Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein Visits Mutanabbi Street and Meets with intellectuals and writers
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein visited Mutanabbi Cultural Street in central Baghdad. During his tour, he met with a number of writers, intellectuals and pioneers of the street. He also visited the famous café known as Al-Shabandar Café, which is one of the most important heritage landmarks on the street.
This visit came to confirm the interest in cultural and civilizational landmarks in Iraq, especially Al Mutanabbi Street for representing a symbol for Iraqi and Arab intellectuals, and to encourage the development of intellectual and cultural horizons.
Al Mutanabbi Street is considered a prominent cultural landmark and a destination for visitors and Arab and foreign delegations visiting Iraq to learn about the civilization and history of Mesopotamia.
