Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives Copies of Credentials of Ambassadors of the Netherlands, Spain and the Czech Republic to Iraq
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, received copies of the credentials of Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Janet Alberda, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain Alicia Rico, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Jan Šnaidauf, residing in Iraq, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
The Minister stressed during his reception of the Ambassadors, each separately, that Iraq’s foreign policy is based on establishing balanced and solid relations aimed at enhancing political, economic and trade cooperation, and overcoming differences and tensions in the region through dialogue.
The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and ways to stop Israeli violations and the efforts made in this regard.
Minister Fuad Hussein wished the new Ambassadors success in performing their duties in Iraq, stressing the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to provide all support to diplomatic missions to enhance the relations of friendship and cooperation between Iraq and their countries.
On their part, the Ambassadors extended their thanks and appreciation to the Minister, expressing their aspiration to develop relations with Iraq across various fields to strengthen mutual ties.
