Iraqi Ambassador to Riyadh Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation with Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs

Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ms. Safia Talib Al Souhail met with Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship Ambassador Abdulrahman Al Rassi. This meeting is part of discussing means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of international multilateral relations.

Additionally, the two sides highlighted the importance of intensifying coordination between Iraq and Saudi Arabia in international organizations and regional forums, to achieve common interests and enhance the role of the two countries on the international arena. The discussion also addressed mechanisms to support mutual nominations in international institutions, which would contribute to enhancing the presence of Iraq and Saudi Arabia in international decisions and files of common interest.
