Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Discusses Security Challenges and Regional Relations with National Security Advisor
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received the National Security Advisor Mr. Qasim Al Araji, on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The meeting reviewed the major security challenges facing the region, in addition to discussing security relations with Turkey and Iran, and ways to enhance joint cooperation to ensure stability and security in the region.
The two sides also discussed the outcomes of the National Security Advisor’s recent visit to Brussels, where he met with NATO leadership, as well they highlighted the prospects for cooperation between Iraq and NATO and ways to advance them, to enhances Iraq’s security capabilities and contributes to achieving security and stability at the regional and international levels.
