Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Receives Turkish Ambassador to Iraq

The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Mr. Omer Al Berzinji received Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Anil Bora Inan and his accompanying delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters, on Monday, 2024/8/12.

The meeting dealt with the results of Undersecretary Al Barzanji visit to Ankara during July and meeting with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, particularly with regard to strengthening and developing bilateral relations, and ways to advance them to meets the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.

The two sides stressed the need of joint cooperation in the field of extradition and return of convicts, transferring the convicts to serve their sentences in their country, and discussing consular affairs, security, counter-terrorism, and judicial cooperation.
