Iraqi Diplomatic Missions Abroad Continues to Commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Yazidi Genocide
Iraqi diplomatic Missions in Moscow, Riyadh, Amman, Damascus, Yerevan, and Mashhad commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Yazidi genocide by Dae’sh terrorist groups, during the commemoration, speeches were delivered recalling the atrocities committed by this terrorist organization, against the Yazidis and the authentic Iraqi components. In Moscow, the Iraqi Ambassador Haider Al Athari and the technical attachés and the Iraqi school participated in a solidarity stand, in which Ambassador Al Athari affirmed the government’s commitment to support the survivors by activating the Yazidi Survivors Law, stressing full solidarity with the Yazidis.
The Iraqi embassy in Riyadh recalled the massacres committed by Dae’sh terrorist gangs against the Iraqi people in general, and the Yazidi component in particular, and the sacrifices made by the security forces of all formations to liberate the Iraqi provinces and defeat the Dae’sh takfiri groups.
At the Iraqi Embassy in Amman a commemorative ceremony was held on the tenth anniversary of the genocide committed by the Doe’s terrorist groups against the Yazidi people and other minorities, the Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Munif Ali Hussein, delivered a speech in which he recalled the heinous crimes committed against the Yazidis, and the killing, displacement and enslavement they were subjected to at the hands of the Dae’sh.
In Damascus, Iraq’s Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Yassin Sharif Alhajimi delivered a speech during a solidarity stand which was organized by the Embassy, stressing that the third of August of each year is considered as a national day for solidarity with the Yazidis and other components that were subjected to genocide at the hands of the Takfiri groups.
In Yerevan, the Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Ali Abdul Karim Atiwi referred to the suffering of the Yazidi people, the human rights violations they were subjected to at the hands of the Dae’sh terrorist organization, the heroism of all the formations of the security forces, and the achievements and measures taken by the Iraqi government to redress the damage and compensate Yazidi survivors.
Additionally, the Iraqi Consulate General in Mashhad held a commemorative ceremony to expose the crimes of Dae’sh, and the role of the Iraqi forces in restoring the cities.
