Foreign Ministry Observes a Moment of Silence in Memory of Yazidi Genocide in Nineveh

On Sunday August 4, 2024. The Foreign Ministry observed a moment of silence in memory of the Yazidi genocide committed by Dae’sh terrorist organization in Nineveh province in 2014. This Moment comes in solidarity with the victims who suffered the most heinous criminal genocide witnessed by humanity. As well the Moment was attended by the Ministry Undersecretaries, heads of departments and diplomats, who expressed their solidarity with the Yazidis, emphasizing the need to exert every possible effort to achieve justice and reparation for the victims and publicize this crime in the international community. In addition underlining the government’s commitment to support the survivors and prosecute the perpetrators to achieve justice.
