Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives a Letter from Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a letter from the Prime Minister and Minister of . Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa. This came during His Excellency receiving of the Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Ahmed Al Ruwaidi, on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Ministry’s headquarters. 

During the meeting, the Palestinian Ambassador delivered the letter which included thanks and appreciation for the continuous and steadfast support for the Palestinian people, as well it commended Iraq’s strong and supportive positions for Palestine in all international forums, which reflects the depth of the historical ties between the two peoples. The meeting also discussed the current situation in Palestine, the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of this aggression.

Minister Fuad Hussein affirmed Iraq’s firm and principled position in supporting the Palestinian cause and exerting maximum efforts to help the Palestinian people get out of their plight .
