Ambassador of Iraq to Ankara Meets Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Ankara, Mr. Majid Al Lachmawi, met with Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Yassin Akram Serem, at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters in Ankara. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries, as Ambassador Al Lachmawi stressed the importance of consolidating the collaborative economic and trade ties, and in other fields as well to enhance joint relations to serve the mutual benefit of both countries and the two friendly peoples and achieve common security and stability.

On his part Deputy Foreign Minister Serem, affirmed his country’s support for the security and stability of Iraq, and the willingness to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in areas of common concern to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly countries and peoples.
