Head of European Department Meets Czech Republic Ambassador

Head of Europe Department Ambassador Bakr Ahmed Al Jaff, met with Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Peter Štepánek, at the Ministry’s headquarters.

Ambassador Al Jaff stressed the Iraqi government’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries. He also commended the Czech Republic’s stance in support of Iraq in regard to humanitarian issues and training of the Iraqi security forces, and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to provide support and assistance to the Embassy in all fields.

As part of the meeting, both sides discussed cooperation across various political and economic fields, exchange of visits, and its role in developing bilateral relations. On his part, Mr. Štepánek congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of assuming his new duties as head of Europe Department.
