Deputy Chief of Protocol Department Meets the Chargé d’affaires of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Accredited to Iraq

Deputy Chief of Protocol Department Mr. Mohammad Hisham received Mr. Sayyed Abdul Hadi Akbarzadeh, the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan accredited to the Republic of Iraq. They exchanged expressions of thanks and welcome and touched on the possibility of facilitating the procedures for granting entry visas to Afghan citizens who want to perform the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The Cheif of Protocol Department confirmed that the Foreign Ministry is in constant contact with all concerned parties in order to overcome and remove obstacles and simplify the procedures of granting entry visas to visitors to the holy shrines. The Chargé d’affaires thanked the Iraqi Foreign Ministry for its assistance in overcoming obstacles in order to carry out its tasks in a way that serves the two friendly countries
