Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Croatian Foreign Minister on Sidelines of NATO Summit
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Mr. Gordan Grlić Radman, on the sidelines of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Summit, held in Washington to mark the 75th anniversary of NATO’s founding.
As part of the meeting, the two sides commended the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, and stressed the aim to open new prospects for cooperation, including the fields of economy and energy, and supporting the work of the embassies of the two countries across all fields.
Additionally, the two sides discussed the consequences of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and the importance of concerted international efforts and exerting pressure, especially from European Union countries, to stop this war and prevent the spread of the conflict, as well as they emphasized the importance of peacemaking through dialogue between Russia and Ukraine, and the necessity of continuous consultation within the framework of joint committees and the exchange of official visits.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Radman extended an official invitation to Minister. Fuad Hussein to visit Croatia, on his part minister Hussein expressed his gratitude and accepted the invitation with pleasure.
