Iraq’s Consulate General Holds Second Mashhad Investment Forum

Under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, and under the title “Iraq is a land of opportunities and an oasis of investment,” the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Mashhad held the “Second Mashhad Investment Forum”. With the participation of Several Iraqi government figures, members of governorate councils, the National Investment Commission, the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce and Iraqi investors. From the Iranian side, the Forum was attended by a representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry and Directors of Iranian companies, as well as members of the Mashhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Head of the Mission confirmed in his speech that this forum came in accordance with the government program and affirmed the desire of the Iraqi government to enhance areas of communication with investors and heads of Iranian companies and open horizons for cooperation with them to serve the interest of both countries.
