Iraq’s Chargé d’Affaires in Beirut Meets Lebanese Minister of Finance

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut, Amin Abd al-Ilah Al Nasrawi, met with Lebanese caretaker Minister of Finance Youssef El Khalil, at the Finance Ministry’s Headquarters in Beirut. During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries. Mr. Al-Nasrawi also stressed the Iraqi government’s keenness to exchange experiences in various areas of financial and tax policies, and to enhance economic cooperation opportunities between Iraq and Lebanon.

On his part, Minister Youssef Al Khalil extended his thanks and appreciation to the Republic of Iraq for the continuous support provided to the government and people of Lebanon, underlining the depth of the established relations between the two countries in various fields.
