Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives U.S. Ambassador to Iraq
On Thursday, May 2, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, received Ambassador of the United States of America to Iraq, Ms. Alena Romanowski.
During the meeting, they reviewed the visit of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to Washington and its importance in developing relations between Iraq and the United States, in addition to both sides praised the success of the meetings rounds of the strategic framework agreement for cooperation, between the representatives of both countries from various sectors, which coincided with the Prime Minister’s visit last month .
The meeting also emphasized the importance of following up on the outcomes of the visit and the meetings of the Higher Coordinating Committee (HCC).
Ambassador Romanowski, also handed Minister Hussein a cable of condolences from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, containing his condolences over the passing of his spouse.
