Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Receives Moroccan Chargé d’affaires

On Monday, March 11, 2024, Undersecretary for Multilateral and Legal Affairs Ambassador Omer Al-Barzanji, received the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Iraq Mr. Abdelkrim Ben Sellam, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.

 In the beginning of the meeting, Undersecretary Al-Barzanji, welcomed the Moroccan Chargé d’affaires, reviewing the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as, their firm stance on Arab and regional issues of common concern, especially the Palestinian issue.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on enhancing relations between the two countries in international forums, especially the field of nominations, the meetings of the joint Iraqi-Moroccan committee and the need for concerted efforts to make it successful. The meeting also discussed the regulations of visas granting between the two countries.

On his part, the Moroccan Chargé d’Affairs praised the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two countries in all fields.
