On occasion of International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, I extend my warmest congratulations to Iraqi women, especially the female employee of the Foreign Ministry, diplomatic and administrative staff, as they carry out their work diligently in the service of our country and our people everywhere, playing significant roles.

Iraqi women have proven their worth and bravery over all the many crises and tribulations that our beloved country went through. She had an exceptional role in society, and on this occasion, we commend the efforts of the government for attaching special importance to promoting the status of women in all fields.

On this occasion, we can only convey our appreciation and thanks to Iraqi women everywhere.
