Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Receives European Union Bank for Reconstruction and Development Delegation

Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations Ambassador Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Bahr Al Ulum, received a delegation from the European Union Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headed by Ms. Heike Harmgart, Managing Director for the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Region at the Bank, the meeting took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.

During the meeting, they reviewed the future plans of actions for the Bank in Iraq, after becoming a member of the Bank.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of the Bank to provide support for Iraq in areas of rebuilding infrastructure, and improving the economic situation.
