Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Turkish Foreign Minister On Sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum
On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with his Turkish counterpart Mr. Hakan Fidan, on the sidelines of the Third Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which is being held in Antalya,Turkey.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in various aspects, to achieves the interests of the two friendly countries.
Minister Fidan, extended his thanks to Minister Hussein for his participation in the forum, which is considered a platform for conveying the opinions and perspectives of states of the region regarding regional and international issues.
Both sides, discussed the program of the upcoming visit of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, and the Minister participation in the 161st Session of the Council of the League of Arab States in Cairo next week, in addition to the progress in the Development Road, which is of strategic importance to Iraq and the region.
Minister Fidan, stressed his country’s interest to further advance bilateral relations to serve the interest of the two neighboring countries and the region.
