Iraq’s Chargé d’Affaires a.i Meets Bahraini Minister of Tourism

The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muhaisen, met with Bahraini Minister of Tourism Ms. Fatima AlSairafi, on February 11, 2024, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Manama. During the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani to his Bahraini counterpart, in addition to highlighting the importance of the historical relations between the two countries, as well as the development they are witnessing in all fields, indicating the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between Baghdad and Manama to enhance cooperation in the field of tourism.
On her part, Ms. AlSairafi stressed the necessity of cooperation between the two sides in this regard, praising the fraternal relations between the two governments and the brotherly peoples.
