The Foreign Ministry and United Nations Office (UNODC) Conduct a Course to Detect and Intercept Suspects
In coordination and cooperation between the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime / Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (UNODC) in Baghdad, a training course was held in Baghdad, titled (Detection and Interception of Suspicious Travelers) for the period from 8-12/9/2019, within the project of communication between airports.
(32) Officers participated in the course working in the front lines of the international airports of Iraq in addition to a group of staff representing most of the Iraqi government agencies.
This session comes at an important time and aims at strengthening international and regional cooperation and focusing security efforts to confront crime, fight terrorism and limit the movement of wanted and suspected terrorists.
