Deputy Head of Arab Department Meets Japanese Chargé d’affaires

The deputy head of the Arab department Mr. Osama Mahdi Al-Rifai met with the Japanese charge d’affaires Mr. Akira Endo  upon the request of the latter.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations to serve the two friendly peoples and the possibility of Japan’s contribution to the process of rebuilding areas liberated from Da’esh terrorist gangs.

The deputy to the head of the Arab Department confirmed the Iraqi government’s keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries, especially with regard to coordination at economic, commercial and industrial level.
