Ambassador Safia Taleb Al-Suhail welcomes the new Japanese ambassador in Iraq

Ambassador Safia Taleb Al-Suhail welcomed the new Japanese Ambassador in Iraq, Mr. Futoshi Matsumoto, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HQ in Baghdad.

The meeting included an emphasis on the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the economic field and to facilitate the work of Japanese companies in Iraq, in addition to discussing the importance of strengthening educational curricula and benefiting from the Japanese experience in this field, especially with regard to child development programs and talent. For his part, the Japanese ambassador thanked the ministry’s efforts to facilitate and support the work of the Japanese embassy in Baghdad.
