Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Discusses with His Egyptian Counterpart Economic, Regional and International Issues of Common Interest
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Fuad Hussein, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr Sameh Shoukry, ways of enhancing the consultation and coordination between the two countries, and updated status implementation of the joint projects between the three countries: Iraq, Egypt and Jordan.
This came during a meeting on Saturday, October 29, 2022, on the sidelines of his participation in the preparatory meeting of foreign ministers for the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level in its 31st session, being held in Algeria.
They discussed the latest regional and international developments of common interest, and the developments in the region, confirming the importance of adopting the principle of dialogue to advance the levels of relations between the two brotherly countries.
On his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister congratulated Mr Hussein on the occasion of the formation of the new government and the renewal of confidence in him as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of emphasizing his country’s desire to develop the bilateral relations and consolidate the joint cooperation in a way that realise prosperity for the two brotherly peoples, expressing the support of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the government and people of Iraq.
