Undersecretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives the British Chargé d’Affaires in Iraq

On Monday, 26/09/2022, the Undersecretary for Administrative, Technical and Legal Affairs, Ambassador Omar Al-Barzanchi, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Baghdad, Mr James Downer, at the ministry’s headquarters.

The two sides reviewed enhancing opportunities for cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, foremost of which is the field of combating terrorism, in addition to the mutual support between the two countries in the field of voting for membership of a number of international organisations.

On his part, the Chargé d’Affaires thanked the Undersecretary for the ministry’s support offered for the British Embassy in Baghdad.
