Lebanese President Honors Ambassador of Republic of Iraq with Lebanese Cedar Medal

Ambassador of Iraq in Beirut, Dr. Ali Abbas Bandar Al-Amiri, accompanied by Minister Plenipotentiary Mr. Amin Al-Nasrawi  met with  President of Lebanon Mr.  Michel Aoun, at the presidential residence on the occasion of competing the tenure of the Ambassador in Lebanon, where the Lebanese President thanked the Ambassador for his efforts that contributed to strengthening ties  and decided to award him the National Cedar Medal  in recognition of his efforts.

   In turn, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of President Barham Saleh to President Michel Aoun and his wishes for progress and prosperity for the people and the Lebanese government. The Ambassador thanked the President of the Republic for this honor and praised the efforts of President Aoun in keeping political stability in Lebanon and the region.
