The Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Manama meets the Bahraini Minister of Health
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Manama, Mr Muayad Omar Abdul Rahman Kuberli, has met Dr Jalila Bint Sayed Jawad Hassan Jawad, the Bahraini Minister of Health, and discussed with her the importance of activating the partnership between the two countries, especially with regard to building the health system, medical education, knowledge transfer, and training support by experts from the two sides.
The Chargé d’Affaires expressed his congratulations on the occasion of obtaining the royal trust and her assuming the position of the Ministry of Health, expressing Iraq’s keenness to strengthen the bilateral cooperation; Which would reflect positively on the interests of the two brotherly peoples, stressing the depth and strength of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in health cooperation, and the importance of continuing cooperation in the fields of health and upgrading the services provided to citizens.
Stressing his keenness to continue the bridging of joint cooperation between Baghdad and Manama in all fields, and the exchange of experiences in the health field, transferring medical expertise between the two countries, to realise the maximum possible benefit in exchanging medical and health experiences.
On her part, the Minister expressed her readiness to cooperate with the counterpart ministry in the Iraqi government, and touched upon the importance of activating the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two countries in 2005, which was suspended in 2017, and called for exchanging visits, and her willingness to hold a virtual meeting via video conference technology with the officials In the Iraqi Ministry of Health.
