Foreign Ministry Spokesman Visits the Assaulted Iraqi Woman at Mashhad Airport  

In accordance with the instructions of Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim , Foreign Ministry Spokesman Dr. Ahmad Al-Sahaf visited the Iraqi woman who was assaulted at Mashhad airport in order to check on her health, to provide the possible assistance and to convey the wishes of the Minister and the Foreign Ministry for her rapid recovery and overcome the psychological crisis following the assault.
This visit comes after a number of measures taken by the Ministry, including directing the Consul General in Mashhad to determine the details of the incident, preparing a memorandum to the Iranian Foreign Ministry to take the necessary legal measures against the aggressor, as well as coordination with the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad.
The Foreign Ministry affirms its keenness to follow up the affairs of all Iraqis inside and outside Iraq, in a manner that preserves their dignity and easy access to the services provided by the Ministry.
